1 lb pork sausage or the meat from 6 sausages.
4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled.
Flour.
3/4 cup of bread crumbs.
1 egg, beaten.
Now its time to cook it with the method and step's
1. Heat oven to 180c. Shape mixture into 4 equal patties.
2. Roll each hard-cooked egg in flour to coat; place on sausage patty and shape sausage around egg. Dip each into beaten egg; coat with bread crumbs to cover completely. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 3. Bake for 35 minutes until baked through.
- You can deep fry the scotch eggs but they are healthier if you oven cook them.
- You can also add herbs to the meat or breadcrumb mixture if you like.
