Drawing Mr kiwi

On Monday Mrs Minehan came and she challenged us to draw a kiwi. We grouped the kiwi bits together then we made a forest behind the kiwis. The class made the kiwi by first searching brown texture for the body and head. next I had to search for a yellow texture for the beak and legs I had to make the beak long and pointy. After that I made the wings and eyes and then I made a family and grouped the bits together. lastly I made the forest background.

Triangle Art

Kumara school did triangle art and this is the finished art. You had to make a big one first and colour it we also oiled it to get the white bits out and blend it. Next one you had to colour is a choice of a medium one or a miniature one Then we put them all in place to make a colourful triangle artwork for the office area.

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image.
I found the first one  …..
The second one was ….
I chose the image of ….  because …
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process?
Then add at least one of your images to your blog.
